Deactivation Procedure for the SF350EN
Click on the Deactivation button above if you are experiencing unexpected, intermittent alarms with your CO detector

How to Deactivate your Carbon Monoxide Alarm

SF350 Carbon Monoxide Alarm

If your detector is sounding an unexpected, intermittent alarm, and it is definitely not a full alarm, you will need to deactivate your unit.

Deactivate your detector if you are experiencing any of the following alarms:

1 beep per minute     =   Battery fault
2 beeps per minute   =   Fault warning
3 beeps per minute   =   End of detector life

WARNING:  IF YOUR DETECTOR IS IN CONTINUOUS, FULL ALARM, DO NOT DEACTIVATE YOUR UNIT -  PLEASE CONTACT THE EMERGENCY NUMBER:
0800 111 999.

The SF350 is designed to be a sealed unit with no access to the batteries. However, if you suspect a fault with the unit then the following procedure indicates how to gain access to the battery compartment to check battery connections or deactivate the unit, if necessary.
