CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM NOW CORGI APPROVED
The SF Detection SF350 series of carbon monoxide alarms are now the world's first domestic CO alarms to be officially approved and recommended by CORGI
SF Detection, Europe’s No.1 manufacturer of domestic gas and carbon monoxide detection equipment, is pleased to announce that their SF350 series of carbon monoxide (CO) alarms are now the world’s first domestic CO alarms to be officially approved and recommended by CORGI, The Council for Registered Gas Installers. The SF350 has already achieved approval to the British Standard (BS7860), the American Standard (UL2034) and more recently was the world’s first CO alarm to achieve official approval to the latest European Standard (EN50291). This latest approval will provide added reassurance to CORGI installers and is further confirmation of the SF350’s quality and performance. It is sure to help maintain its position as the best selling CO alarm in the UK. The SF350 is a stand-alone CO alarm with the batteries sealed inside the unit to ensure they are not inadvertently removed or tampered with. However, the unit still provides a guaranteed 5 years of operation without any need for replacement batteries or parts. It incorporates the latest electro-chemical sensing technology and offers a number of unique, market leading features and benefits including an ultra compact and aesthetic design, an automatic sensor adjustment function and a continuous self test function to ensure complete accuracy and reliability. Major customers of SF Detection CO alarms include many leading trade distributors in the plumbing & heating markets as well as gas companies and an ever-increasing number of local authorities and housing associations.
